Following is a list of common questions and answers that I've created based on over a decade repairing fuel sending units and fuel pump module assemblies. I hope you find this information of help. Do you repair units with broken or rusted lines?
Yes, this is one of the most common types of repairs that I perform. Unfortunately, lines and plates which are exposed to salt and other corrosive elements cause serious harm to sending units. Repairs such as these can be made easily and affordably. In over a decade of repairing units, I have only seen two units which could not be repaired.

Can you repair plastic fuel module assemblies?
Yes, if the problem is that the gas gauge level is reading improperly then a repair can be made. Most of these repairs involved wiring repairs and/or mechanical repairs such as fixing broken swiper arms.
Unfortunately, broken plastic lines or cracked module bodies are not repairable.

What does a typical repair cost?
Most complete repairs cost between $150 - $180 per unit. Gauge repair assemblies typically cost between $75- $100. A complete quote will be provided to you by phone. Whatever the cost, you can be confident that repairing the unit will be affordable and that the unit will install easily without the complications often associated with aftermarket units.

How long does it take to repair my sending unit or fuel pump module assembly?
A time estimate will be provided to you prior to shipping the unit to us for repair. Typical turnaround is 2-3 days upon receipt.

Tell me about the process of sending and returning the unit. What are the involved costs?
Units can be shipped and returned using standard carriers including USPS, FedEx, and UPS. I suggest making sure the unit is completely dry and carefully packaging the unit to prevent damage. Typical shipping fees are approximately $8 - $15 for standard shipment within the continental U.S.
How will the unit appear and function after being repaired?
The unit will work as it did originally. Unit repairs normally involve disassembling and glass blasting the entire unit. Steel pickup and return lines will be replaced at this time (if needed) and damaged wiring and rheostats are repaired or replaced depending on condition.
Wiring harnesses, replacement rheostats and fuel tank level sensors may not appear the same as original. However, their function will be the same as original condition. Feed and return lines use a high-tech, alloy which is guaranteed for life not to rust or corrode. This material has a bronze/deep gold color. Upon completion, most of the exposed parts are painted with a black epoxy paint to help protect the unit from elements and resist future rust.
